The Immigration Department has set up a new e-Channel registration station at the revamped Huanggang Port to facilitate cooperative clearance and make it easier for the public to register. The new station is located on the fifth-floor departure level.
Citizens who had not registered via the e-Channel mobile app could bring their children, aged seven to 17, to apply on the spot. Director of Immigration Benson Kwok visited the port to inspect the operations. The department said it would continue to monitor passenger and vehicular traffic to optimise the arrangements.
