Traffic accident in MK after car rams into restaurant; 2 arrested

In Mong Kok, a private car rammed into a restaurant after crashing into a pedestrian sidewalk.

Two men aged 38 and 46 respectively were arrested.

The incident happened at around 6 p.m. near Portland Street.

Officers were trying to intercept a suspicious vehicle on Shanghai Street, which later attempted to drive away before crashing into an eatery.

Two people in the car attempted to flee the scene before being arrested.

Police seized suspected drugs, including 7.59g of cocaine and 2.4g of meth in the car.
