Trump is expected to greet Chinese President Xi at around 6am HK Time

According to the Associated Press, US President Donald Trump is expected to greet Chinese President Xi Jinping at around 2200GMT or 6 am Hong Kong time at Joint Base Andrews.

When Xi arrives in Washington on Wednesday, he's expected to get a rare greeting from Trump, who'll be on the tarmac to welcome his counterpart's plane instead of waiting for him to drive up to the White House. Trump's decision to greet Xi shows how far the U.S. president is going to honour China's leader as he makes his first state visit in more than a decade.
