Hamas, Israel agree to second phase ceasefire

A ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel has been reached, and Hamas will soon issue an official statement, Saudi-owned Al Arabiya TV reported Friday, citing a Hamas official.

Egypt's state TV also reported early Friday that Hamas and Palestinian factions have agreed to a plan for implementing the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, including a gradual process for inventorying and storing their weapons.

This as American President Donald Trump says agreement on complete disarmament of Hamas.

Trump furthers the Board of Peace had reached that agreement and all other armed groups in Gaza, which would be carried out in phases and eventually lead to Israeli forces withdrawing.
