MTR announces half-priced fares on Sept 24 for Thank You Day

MTR is slashing ticket prices by half on September 24 as part of

"Thank You Day."

Those riding using their Octopus, JoyYou, and QR tickets can enjoy

half-fare discount for every trip on the MTR, Light Rail and MTR Bus running

in the Northwest New Territories and on the heavy rail network.

The discount also applies to cross-border journeys to and from Lo Wu and

Lok Ma Chau on the East Rail Line.

The discount can be used in conjunction with interchange discounts.

The day is arranged in accordance with the Service Performance Rebate arrangement

under the Fare Adjustment Mechanism.
