Water supply disruption in Fanling's San Wan Road after pipe burst

A road subsidence and a burst water pipe have occurred on San Wan Road in Fanling, disrupting the water supply to at least two blocks in Cheung Wah Estate.

Online footage shows extensive waterlogged intersection along San Wan Road. Police reported receiving a call around 10:30pm over a road collapse and a burst water pipe there with water levels reaching approximately one foot deep.

The district councillor of the neighbourhood says the water supply to the blocks in Cheung Wah Estate has been disrupted. The Home Affairs Department and the Water Supplies Department have been notified to provide assistance.
