CX ranks 3rd in World's Best Airlines

Cathay Pacific ranked third in the World's Best Airlines in the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards.

The city's flagship airline also won the World's Best Cabin Crew and the World's First Class Airline Lounge.

CX says these accolades recognise the airline's continued commitment to delivering exceptional customer experience across every stage of the journey -- from the care and professionalism shown by its cabin crew in the air to the airline's elevated lounge experience on the ground.

Cathay Group CEO Ronald Lam also expressed gratitude for the support of travellers and the dedication of Cathay staff.

He reveals that CX will invest about 150 billion dollars to upgrade its fleet, enhance its cabins and lounges to consolidate Hong Kong's position as a leading global aviation hub.

Ranking No. 1 this year in the league is Singapore Airlines, dethroning Qatar Airways -- which is placed second.

The Singaporean flagship airline has won the top award six times.
